  Is there ever an excuse for Poor Service? I try to blame ignorance for discrimination, but enough is enough. It's one thing to judge based on race, especially if it may have happened to you before, but today I know I was treated differently because I didn't appear to be worthy. I thought our society was past this....
  
  I give a business several opportunities before I choose to write a negative review. I'm in management myself, so I understand how easy it is to be misunderstood. I've done business at this cleaners several times. I've even opted to ignore some obvious discriminating behaviors here. Normally I come in dressed in my business attire, though today I didn't. I've been at work since about 5a.m. on my 7th day straight practically in my pajamas performing cleaning duties. I came in and needed same day service because I have a last minute corporate visit tomorrow morning. I arrived at 10:15a.m. and the adververtised cutoff time for same day service is 10:30a.m. For heaven's sake it's plastered on their window! I was told I was too late, I said "the sign clearly says 10:30a.m". The man repeated "I said it is too late". I said, "I guess I'll have to go elsewhere", and the man replied "I guess you will", so I left.
  
  I would have left and just gone on about my business if I hadn't had this happen to me two other times with this cleaner, which is right down the street from where I manage and train for a corporate company. I try to keep my business local because I would like for other people in my area to keep their business local as well.
  
  I mentioned that I've had some discrimination issues between this cleaner, myself(a white women), and my husband(a black man) a couple of times. I've gone in with my husband's team jerseys(some quite valuable) and have had them cleaned with no issues. Now when my husband has returned with those same jerseys they told him that they do not clean jerseys and sent him away.
  
  Sadly, I'm afraid this experience has put the last nail in the coffin for me. I see that there just isn't room for my optimism and loyalty with this business and they've now forced me to decide that I will take my business elsewhere in this case.
